We offer Care and Support Services to vulnerable People. The adults and older people placed under the care of Plum Tree will be in need of care and support for a variety of reasons. These may include:
Personal Care
Personal care is a wide phrase used for several tasks to help service users maintain their personal hygiene and appearance, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
Mobility Support
The visiting carer will ensure service users regularly mobilise at certain times during the day if mobility is an issue and prevents safe movement around the home.
Companionship
Our team of carers provide service users with companionship when they visit you in their home.
Convalescence Care
If a service user requires support after hospital treatment or an operation, for example following a hip replacement, carers can provide convalescence care in their own home.
Medication administration and medication management
The carer will support you with administering medications to ensure service users keep on top of their routine.
Domestic and household support
A carer will help with domestic tasks to ensure service users keep on top of their cleaning regiment.
Convalescence Care
Carers will prepare meals and where time allows cook for service users, to ensure they get their meals at regular times during the day. If they do not visit at every mealtime, they will prepare in advance food for service user to simply put in a microwave.
